After spending the last four months bouncing between festivals and gigs, I needed a break to settle back into my usual routine. I tried to make my homebound days more interesting by widening the reach of my musical radar. So far, I’m glad about the result.

Elena Colombi & Lena Willikens at UFO II - Dekmantel Festival 2025
When I was at Dekmantel, I wasn’t able to listen to this set from start to end for two reasons:
– UFO II was an awfully tiny and dark stage
– I decided to catch Sugar Free instead, since I’m already pretty familiar with Lena’s sound
This set sounds much better “online” – the stage didn’t do them justice. Caught myself replaying the last 7 minutes over and over.
